Description

You will design and build large-scale big data applications and data solutions. Responsibilities include providing technical leadership in developing data solutions and building frameworks. You will build Data Lakes, EDW, and data applications using Azure and AWS. Tune big data solutions to improve performance. Conduct code reviews to improve software engineering quality. Manage production rollout and infrastructure configuration.

Responsibilities

• Design and build large-scale big data applications and data solutions.
• Provide technical leadership in developing data solutions and building frameworks.
• Build Data Lakes, EDW, and data applications using Azure and AWS.
• Tune big data solutions to improve performance and conduct code reviews.
• Manage production rollout and infrastructure configuration.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with 8+ years building large-scale big data applications.
• Strong Java development skills including OOPs concepts and multithreading.
• Hands-on experience with Spark and Kafka.
• Proficiency with Azure and AWS cloud data stacks.
• Experience with SQL and distributed RDBMS.
• Experience with NoSQL databases including Cassandra, HBase, or DynamoDB.
• Working knowledge of Linux.
• Ability to work on-site in Franklin Lakes, NJ, once per week.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, Scala, or Talend Big Data edition.
• Knowledge of Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, and Unstructured Data Modeling.
• Background in Healthcare or Pharma domains.
