Description

You will design and implement big data infrastructure for batch and real-time analytics. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure for batch and real-time analytics to ensure interactive response times.
• Prevent performance bottlenecks from entering the system.
• Translate business use-cases and feature requests into technical designs and development tasks.
• Participate in system architecture and design discussions.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience with Spark, Scala, and Java tech stacks.
• Extensive experience architecting and engineering big data processing applications using Spark and Hive.
• Proficiency in Kafka Streaming, PostgreSQL, Spark, Scala, and Java.
• 3+ years of experience with UNIX/LINUX shell scripting.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and computational complexity.
• Experience working within Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• 1+ years of experience with Groovy and Gradle.
