You will design and build big data applications using Scala and the Hadoop ecosystem.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop big data applications using Scala.
• Optimize data pipelines utilizing Hadoop ecosystem tools.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes for large-scale datasets.
• Implement batch and streaming data processing solutions.
• Optimize big data jobs for scalability and reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Big Data development.
• Proficiency in Scala.
• Experience with Hadoop ecosystem tools.
• Expertise in ETL/ELT processes.
• Hands-on experience with HDFS.
• Familiarity with Hive and HBase.
