Description

Design, develop, and support Big Data applications using existing and emerging technology platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build data services to automate Hive structures, HDFS directory structures, and partitions based on source definitions.
• Implement configuration and metadata-driven frameworks for data structuring.
• Manage large data streams using Hive and Spark.
• Distribute data across the internal Data Lake using Cloudera Distribution.
• Support and maintain Big Data infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in big data development.
• Proficiency with Apache Hive.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark.
• Experience working with Data Lake architectures.
• Knowledge of AWS.
• Experience with Cloudera Distribution.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
