Description
You will design, build, and operate large-scale enterprise big data platforms and streaming use cases.
Responsibilities
- Design and build enterprise-grade data streaming use cases using Kafka, Spark Streaming, Storm, or Flink.
- Develop and operate large-scale big data platforms and business intelligence delivery systems.
- Perform analysis using large data sets to drive specific business outcomes.
- Collaborate within a mature, self-organized agile team to articulate supported use cases and resulting outcomes.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience as a big data engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Java.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka, Spark Streaming, Storm, or Flink.
- Proficiency in PySpark, Spark, Python, Scala, Hive, Pig, and MapReduce.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS or GCP.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
