Description

You will design, build, and operate large-scale enterprise big data platforms and data streaming use cases.

Responsibilities

• Design and build enterprise-grade data streaming use cases using Kafka, Spark Streaming, Storm, or Flink.
• Develop large-scale data engineering and business intelligence delivery pipelines.
• Perform analysis using large data sets to drive specific business outcomes.
• Collaborate within a mature, self-organized agile team to articulate specific use cases and outcomes.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a big data engineer.
• Expertise in Java.
• Proficiency in PySpark, Spark, Python, Scala, Hive, Pig, and MapReduce.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise-level big data platform design.
