Description

You will own production support for big data systems and manage associated data environments.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain big data production pipelines.
• Troubleshoot issues within Linux and Oracle Database environments.
• Automate operational tasks using Python and Shell Scripting.
• Manage data streaming workflows using Apache Kafka.
• Work with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) for deployment and monitoring.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in data development or production support.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka.
• Proficiency in Linux operating systems.
• Experience managing Oracle Database systems.
• Strong scripting skills in Python.
• Ability to write and maintain Shell Scripting.
• Experience working with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
