Description

You will design, develop, and implement large-scale distributed software systems using Big Data technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and code Hadoop applications using Spark, Scala, and Java.
• Design, test, and monitor custom distributed software systems to meet strategic goals.
• Collaborate with the team to establish best practices and identify optimal technical solutions.
• Review code and provide feedback to improve performance and adherence to standards.
• Contribute to technological strategy, including design, architecture, and interfaces.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in software development.
• 3+ years as an Application Developer, Data Architect, or equivalent.
• Proficiency with Spark, HDFS, and Hive.
• Experience with Scala, Python, and Java.
• Working knowledge of HBase and Cloudera.
• Experience with Angular Js and Informatica or similar data replication tools.
• Strong understanding of data models and data consumption patterns.
• Knowledge of business processes and securities trading or risk basics.
• Ability to operate within SDLC and Agile frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in providing guidance and coaching to associate developers.
