Description

Design and implement big data solutions using PySpark and SQL Server, owning the end-to-end delivery from requirement gathering to release management.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PySpark applications for big data environments, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Design and implement data warehousing solutions using T-SQL and SQL Server technologies.
• Create and manage reports and dashboards using SSRS, documenting process flows effectively.
• Handle BAU JIRAs, perform L2 support, and conduct system vulnerability analysis and debugging.
• Execute release management using company SMM tools with ETL batch support.

Required Skills

• PySpark with at least 5 years of experience in big data development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL for data warehousing.
• Experience with ETL processes and SSRS for reporting.
• Proficiency in JIRA for issue tracking and release management.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in applications development.
• Experience in the Financial Services industry is required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with script tools, code analysis, and security testing.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
