Description

Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant big data platforms for in-depth analytics.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and automate high-volume data pipelines for real-time data collection and processing.
• Develop analytics applications from the ground up using Java and the Spring framework.
• Lead multiple projects to develop features for data processing and reporting platforms.
• Implement data fetching mechanisms to reconcile external data sources with processed data.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end products.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of professional coding experience in Java.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithm design.
• Experience with Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, HBase, Hive, and Presto.
• Proficiency in Spring, Tomcat, Jenkins, REST APIs, JDBC, and Hibernate.
• Experience working within Amazon Web Services.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including code reviews, source control, and automated testing.
• Ability to create architectural specifications and documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing large-scale big data pipelines, real-time systems, and data warehouses.
