Description

You will design and develop data pipelines and REST APIs using Scala.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Scala-based data pipelines.
• Build and maintain REST APIs for reporting system integration.
• Write and implement code using Scala and Spark APIs.
• Apply data modeling and software architecture principles to big data workflows.
• Manage workflows with Hadoop-centric schedulers.

Required Skills

• 6 to 8 years of experience in Big Data and Data Engineering.
• Deep knowledge of Spark and the Scala API.
• Extensive experience with Scala and Hadoop.
• Proficiency in Java.
• Experience with REST API development.
• Knowledge of data structures and data modeling.
• Working knowledge of Unix and shell scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python.
