Description

Develop enterprise software applications and build curated data products for large-scale Big Data and Teradata platforms. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality code that meets project standards and delivers required functionality.
• Program specific components, features, or frameworks for Big Data platforms.
• Contribute to design discussions for the BI Consumption Layer.
• Analyze problem statements and break down complex requirements into actionable tasks.
• Mentor team members during delivery of small to medium-sized tasks.

Required Skills

• Minimum 7 years of experience with Teradata tools.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with Linux or Unix, including developing processes and shell scripts.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in DML operations and SQL.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with Hadoop and Big Data.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with GCP BigQuery.
• Proficiency in core data structures and algorithms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on coding experience with GCP, Spark, Big Data, or Hadoop.
• Experience with Hadoop ecosystem components such as Hive, Oozie, Sqoop, or Zookeeper.
• Experience with BI tools including Looker, Qlik, or ThoughtSpot.
