Description

You will build and maintain data processing solutions in a Hadoop environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop code using object-oriented languages following design protocols.
• Manage the full systems development life cycle, including unit testing, debugging, and release.
• Execute change management and use versioning tools to maintain code integrity.
• Analyze technical requirements to deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate within an Agile framework to deliver tasks independently.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT development, programming, or coding.
• Proven experience working within a Hadoop environment and strong knowledge of Hadoop ecosystems.
• Proficiency in Spark and Scala.
• Experience with Agile Methodology.
• Ability to use debugging tools and versioning software.
• Proficiency in flowcharting tools like Visio and MS Suite.
• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Hive, Apache HBase, or MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with Spark streaming and Kafka for real-time data.
• Experience processing bulk or large volumes of data.
