Description

You will build and improve data pipelines to support group risk reporting and data-driven use cases.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement new data pipelines and improve existing ones to meet reporting requirements.
• Remodel and aggregate data inputs into a common company format.
• Develop upstream source integrations and efficient data transformations.
• Build analytics pipelines to extend and improve the reporting foundation.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Big Data development.
• Proficiency in Scala or Java/Spark.
• Hands-on experience with the Hadoop stack, including YARN, MR, Sqoop, and Hive.
• Experience with Kafka and Impala.
• Practical development experience with Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Proficiency with JIRA, Bitbucket, and Git/Stash.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing data security capabilities like encryption and anonymization.
• Background in Financial Services and working within Agile methods.
• Experience collaborating with distributed global teams.
