Description

You will manage Hadoop cluster operations and support data-centric application development and cloud migrations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day operations of the Hadoop cluster.
• Monitor cluster performance and remediate production issues with the Production Management team.
• Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams on Hadoop maintenance, including upgrades and NameNode migrations.
• Support the application development team with AWS cloud migrations and data system transitions.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Big Data environments.
• In-depth understanding of Hadoop cluster administration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS technologies.
• Experience migrating data or big data systems to AWS.
• Relevant AWS certification.
• Java development experience within the context of big data or data-centric systems.
• Bachelor's degree.
