Description

You will design and build scalable data architectures and pipelines using Scala, Spark, and Flink.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable data architectures and Common Data Models (CDM) for standardization.
• Build and maintain batch and real-time data pipelines using Spark and Flink.
• Manage large-scale data systems using Apache Iceberg and Kafka.
• Optimize data processing workflows for performance, consistency, and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish coding and architecture best practices.

Required Skills

• 8-11 years of experience in data engineering or big data roles.
• Strong expertise in Scala, Apache Spark, and Flink.
• Experience designing ETL pipelines and large-scale data processing systems.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and Apache Iceberg.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and BigQuery for storage and analytics.

Preferred Skills

• Experience modernizing data infrastructure and engineering processes.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
