Description

You will own the end-to-end delivery, maintenance, and upgrading of big data applications within an Agile environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full software development lifecycle for data-intensive applications from conception to deployment.
• Oversee the analysis, writing, building, and deployment of big data software components.
• Maintain and upgrade existing systems and software post-deployment.
• Direct automated testing processes and provide development feedback to management.
• Modify and test changes to previously developed programs while coordinating with business users.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in the technology or banking industry.
• Expertise in Hadoop and Spark.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing principles.
• Experience with Relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Expertise in Big Data querying tools such as Hive and Impala.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes.
• Ability to work independently using Agile methodologies.
