Description

You will build and maintain data platforms, integration frameworks, and distributed processing systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop data platforms, integration frameworks, and core processing code.
• Build and deliver APIs in Python or Scala for business intelligence applications.
• Write automated tests including unit, integration, performance, and acceptance tests.
• Design and implement data flow development and REST-based services.
• Collaborate on user stories within Agile environments using Scrum or Kanban.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Apache Hive, and Apache HBase.
• Experience managing large data volumes and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with GCP.
• Ability to work within Agile development techniques.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing REST-based services.
• Experience with Scala.
