Description

You will design, implement, and support complex software components and data applications by translating business requirements into technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design and redesign software components using industry best practices for modeling and simulation.
• Develop and optimize data-processing constructs, including Joins and MapReduce.
• Write and execute comprehensive unit test cases covering both positive and negative scenarios.
• Debug issues within AWS CloudWatch to maintain system stability.
• Implement and support solutions while ensuring security, compliance, and quality requirements are met.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Big Data environments.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Python, HBase, Hive, and Sqoop.
• Proficiency in writing optimized SQL queries for RDBMS and No-SQL architectures.
• Working knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, EC2, ECS, EMR, Athena, and S3.
• Experience creating optimized DAGs using Airflow.
• Proficiency with Git and Bitbucket for version control.
• Strong Python coding skills.
• Experience working within Agile environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the financial industry.
• Working knowledge of Core Java programming.
• Basic understanding of Unix/Linux systems.
