Description

You will design and implement big data solutions to meet organizational data requirements.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Hadoop systems and define technical scopes for big data solutions.
• Load disparate datasets and execute pre-processing services using Hive or Pig.
• Collaborate with managers to define big data infrastructure needs.
• Train staff on effective data resource management.
• Solve complex networking, data, and software issues.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in big data engineering.
• Proficiency with PySpark, Spark, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, HDFS, and Hive.
• Experience with AWS or Snowflake.
• Knowledge of NoSQL and RDBMS databases, specifically Redis and MongoDB.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using Pig for data pre-processing.
