You will build and maintain big data solutions and tools to increase engineering efficiency.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and support of big data environments using scripting and specialized tools.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using version control systems.
• Deliver specialized assignments independently within project scopes.
• Provide solutions that iteratively increase engineering efficiencies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience as a Big Data Developer or Software Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Expertise in Big Data processing environments (Hive, CDP).
• Hands-on experience with Unix and BigData Scripting.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub and CI/CD implementation.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Pytest.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Hadoop.
• Experience with Control-M Tooling or monitoring tools.
