Description

You will build and maintain the tools, systems, and data pipelines that deploy and scale applications across hybrid cloud and physical environments within the Unified Data Acquisition and Processing (UDAP) platform.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain operational tools to ensure service availability across hosted and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Develop data pipelines and processes to move data from sources to warehouses.
• Solve for scalability, performance, and stability within the data platform.
• Troubleshoot complex system and application stacks.
• Partner with data engineering, product, and architecture teams to provide operational guidance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with the Big Data stack, specifically Spark and the Hadoop ecosystem.
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Expert knowledge of Linux operating systems and scripting.
• Experience with Data Warehouse related projects.
• Ability to work autonomously and perform independent research.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Operational experience with the Elastic Search (ELK) stack.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience troubleshooting network and server communication.
