Design and build software solutions for large-scale distributed data-intensive platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance big data applications using Java, Scala, and SQL.
• Design scalable and flexible software solutions for high-volume transactional environments.
• Implement distributed data platforms focused on resiliency and availability.
• Debug and solve complex analytical problems within the data pipeline.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software development experience as a Java developer.
• 6+ years of software development experience as a Spark/Scala developer.
• Extensive experience with Hadoop and Hive.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, SQL, and Linux.
• Experience with git and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
• Proven experience designing large-scale distributed data platforms.

Preferred Skills

• GCP experience, including BigQuery and general cloud computing.
• NoSQL database experience with MapR DB, HBase, or Cassandra.
• Experience with Hadoop components like MapR and Yarn.
