Description

Design and maintain large-scale data pipelines and processing systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize data pipelines for analytics and machine learning workloads.
• Implement distributed data systems using Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Develop ETL processes and data models using cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Collaborate with analytics teams to improve data access and transformation efficiency.
• Travel to unanticipated client sites throughout the USA as project requirements dictate.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Big Data Technologies.
• Proficiency in Scala, Java, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Experience with cloud data services including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, IS, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to work under supervision and adapt to varying client site requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience as a Big Data Engineer, IT Consultant, Analyst, or Programmer.
• 12 months of specific experience in data engineering tools or technologies.
