Description

You will build and maintain large-scale data processing systems in a Unix environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Spark and MapReduce.
• Manage and query large datasets using Hive and SQL.
• Optimize data processing workflows within the Hadoop ecosystem.
• Write and maintain backend logic using Java.
• Operate and troubleshoot processes in Unix environments.

Required Skills

• 5-9 years of experience in big data engineering.
• Proficiency with Spark and MapReduce.
• Strong experience with Hadoop and Hive.
• Solid understanding of Java programming.
• Advanced SQL skills for data manipulation.
• Experience working in Unix environments.
• Background in Big Data technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Technical degree in engineering or technology discipline.
