Description

Design, build, and maintain data-forward solutions as a design-build-run engineer, owning technical decisions and architectural artifacts for solution developers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams, data analysts, and data scientists to build technical solutions.
• Design architectures ensuring availability, stability, scalability, security, and recoverability.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and data preparation modules.
• Provide prescriptive point-solution architectures and guide descriptive architectures within assigned modules.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Hadoop, streaming, and the Hadoop ecosystem.
• Experience developing software frameworks using Spark, Hadoop MR, and Kafka.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python for data pipeline development.
• Practical experience with distributed computing architecture.
• Strong understanding of the separation of storage and compute.
• Ability to interact with users to translate requirements into technical designs.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent working experience.
