Description

Design and develop large-scale big data applications and data solutions. Provide technical leadership in building frameworks and data architectures.

Responsibilities

• Build Data Lakes, EDW, and data applications using cloud stacks.
• Develop ETL processes and manage big data platforms.
• Tune big data solutions to improve performance.
• Conduct code reviews and manage production rollouts and infrastructure configuration.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall software experience with 8+ years building large-scale big data applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java, including OOPs concepts and multithreading.
• Hands-on experience with Spark and Kafka.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Azure or AWS.
• Proficiency in SQL and RDBMS, including understanding of cluster and parallel architecture.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, HBase, DynamoDB, or Elastic Search.
• Working knowledge of Linux.
• Experience with ETL tools, preferably Talend.
• Ability to work on-site in Franklin Lakes, NJ, once per week.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, Scala, or container deployment.
• Knowledge of Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, and Unstructured Data modeling.
• Experience in the Healthcare or Pharma domain or working with PCI Data.
