You will design and operate big data systems to meet project objectives cost-effectively.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate production-level big data and stream processing systems.
• Drive technical strategy in collaboration with the management team.
• Resolve technical problems in a timely and effective manner.
• Evaluate new eCommerce technologies to determine their impact on existing systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of programming experience, specifically with Python and PySpark.
• 3+ years of enterprise experience designing and operating big data pipelines or enterprise data warehouses.
• Experience handling data with Databricks.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience with Apache Spark, Storm, and NoSQL storage.
• Proficiency with HDFS, MapReduce, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of machine learning and front store/customer loyalty programs.
