Description

You will design, build, and optimize cloud-based data pipelines and analytics solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize complex SQL scripts for large-scale data processing and reporting.
• Build and manage ETL workflows using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Databricks.
• Execute database migration strategies and support cloud modernization initiatives.
• Create and maintain data visualization dashboards using Tableau, Looker, and PLX.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across data pipelines, ETL jobs, and analytics dashboards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Big Data Engineering, Analytics, and Cloud Data Platforms.
• Strong expertise in SQL, including complex analytical queries and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services: BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud SQL, and Spanner.
• Proficiency in building ETL workflows and distributed data processing solutions.
• Experience with data visualization tools: Tableau, Looker, and PLX.
• Knowledge of data migration and modernization, including Databricks.
• Understanding of distributed data processing frameworks and cloud analytics architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Python scripting for automation and data engineering use cases.
