Description

You will design and lead enterprise-scale data modernization and cloud migration strategies. You own the architecture blueprints and technology strategies for enterprise data, reporting, and analytics platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead data migration and modernization projects from on-premises Oracle or Teradata systems to GCP.
• Oversee cloud solution design from conceptual to physical stages using established architecture patterns.
• Drive standards for data quality, governance best practices, and data trust across client enterprises.
• Support technical pre-sales efforts and act as a trusted advisor during client presentations and roadmap execution.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of IT experience in Big Data, Data Warehousing, and Data Architecture.
• Deep knowledge of GCP Cloud Platform services: BigQuery, BigTable, DataFlow, DataProc, DataPrep, and Pub/Sub.
• Extensive experience with RDBMS and Data Lake platforms including Oracle, Teradata, and Snowflake.
• Proven expertise in Data Modelling, Schema Design, and Query Tuning/Optimization.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools, complex data pipeline implementation, and DataStage.
• Proficiency with Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
• Experience in data normalization, metadata management, and source-to-target mapping.
• Strong understanding of data governance and compliance regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and PCI.

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating Machine Learning workflows within cloud data architectures.
