Description

You will manage and maintain Hadoop clusters to ensure stability, security, and continuous availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor cluster health and performance to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
• Perform performance tuning and capacity planning for the big data environment.
• Manage cluster security, including Kerberos configuration and data encryption.
• Execute node lifecycle management, including additions and decommissioning.
• Debug technical issues and maintain Unix-based cluster operations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Hadoop administration.
• Hands-on expertise with cluster monitoring tools.
• Proven experience with performance tuning for large-scale big data environments.
• Strong knowledge of cluster security protocols, specifically Kerberos and data encryption.
• Proficiency with Unix commands for cluster management and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing node additions and decommissioning processes.
• Graduate degree in any field.
