Description

You will own big data infrastructure and data warehousing projects in a global delivery environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute ETL processes and manage end-to-end data warehouse projects.
• Work with Apache Parquet data formats to optimize storage and retrieval performance.
• Manage and process data streams using Kafka.
• Operate within Cloudera and Hortonworks ecosystems to maintain infrastructure stability.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional experience in big data environments.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for complex queries and data manipulation.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Parquet file formats.
• Experience with Apache Kafka for stream processing.
• Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks.
• Knowledge of ETL and data warehouse architectures.
• Cloudera or Hortonworks certification.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
