Description

You will manage and maintain the Hadoop infrastructure, ensuring cluster health and performance optimization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain Hadoop clusters, adding or removing nodes via Cloudera Manager.
• Configure NameNode high availability and monitor all running Hadoop jobs.
• Troubleshoot platform issues, implement fixes, and optimize cluster performance.
• Execute complete backup and recovery tasks for data integrity.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Big Data and Hadoop environments.
• Hands-on experience with HDP or CDP flavors.
• Proficiency with YARN, HDFS, Hive, ZooKeeper, and HBase/Phoenix.
• Minimum 1 year of Linux and shell scripting experience.
• Experience managing infrastructure and cluster usage optimization.
• Ability to handle resource and security management.
