Description

Manage and maintain Hadoop infrastructure and cluster health.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain Hadoop clusters, including adding and removing nodes via Cloudera Manager.
• Configure NameNode high availability and monitor all running Hadoop jobs.
• Troubleshoot platform issues, implement fixes, and optimize cluster performance and usage.
• Manage cluster health monitoring, alerting, and resource security.
• Execute complete backup and recovery tasks.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Big Data or Hadoop environments.
• Hands-on experience with HDP or CDP flavors.
• Proficiency with YARN, HDFS, Hive, ZooKeeper, and HBase/Phoenix.
• Minimum 1 year of Linux and shell scripting experience.
• Experience administering overall Hadoop infrastructure and cluster monitoring.
• Ability to manage resource and security configurations.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
