Description

Design and build scalable microservices and big data pipelines using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud with cloud-native patterns.
• Build and optimize REST APIs, event-driven components, and distributed workflows.
• Develop Spark batch jobs and streaming pipelines for large-scale data processing and transformations.
• Implement Kafka streaming pipelines for real-time ingestion and high-volume data processing.
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and enforce engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of enterprise-grade development experience with Java (8/11/17), Collections, Concurrency, and Multithreading.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST, and Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Spark (Batch + Structured Streaming) for large datasets.
• Proven ability with Kafka, including topics, partitions, consumer groups, and schema registry.
• Experience with Hadoop ecosystem components such as Hive, HDFS, HBase, or Presto.
• Cloud proficiency, preferably AWS (EMR, EKS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Fargate).
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven/Gradle, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and performance tuning.

Preferred Skills

• Front-end development experience with React or Angular.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
