Description

You will build and maintain large-scale data processing systems and backend services in a financial services environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend solutions using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot to integrate with distributed systems.
• Manage large-scale data processing using Hadoop ecosystem components including Spark and Sqoop.
• Build responsive front-end applications using the Angular framework.
• Design, query, and optimize Oracle database performance.
• Collaborate across teams through mentorship, technical interviewing, and firmwide initiatives.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expertise in Java programming and the Spring ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Spark, and Sqoop.
• Proficiency in building REST services.
• Experience with Angular for front-end development.
• Strong Oracle database design and optimization skills.
• Background in financial services, specifically brokerage or custody services.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of event-driven architecture.
