Description

You will manage and maintain Hadoop infrastructure on-site in Austin, TX. You are responsible for the stability and availability of the big data ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Administer Hadoop ecosystems to ensure system stability and availability.
• Manage cluster configurations and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Monitor system health metrics and address administrative requirements.
• Resolve operational issues to maintain high availability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Hadoop administration.
• Proven track record managing Hadoop cluster configurations.
• Ability to monitor system health and troubleshoot administrative issues.
• Must be able to work onsite in Austin, TX from day one.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka administration within Hadoop ecosystems.
