Description

You will lead the design and development of cloud-native applications and data services on Azure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and build cloud-native applications using modern architecture patterns.
• Develop and orchestrate end-to-end near-real-time and batch data pipelines.
• Lead migration of existing applications to cloud environments with minimal disruption.
• Provide technical troubleshooting and problem resolution support.
• Implement data security, encryption, and compliance with PII/PSI legislation.

Required Skills

• 14+ years of experience in Azure and Data Engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and Spark SQL.
• Experience designing ETL processes within Azure Data Lake Gen 2 and Synapse Analytics.
• Knowledge of data security implementation and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with Shell Scripting and various Azure storage services.
• Minimum 3 years of real project experience in these technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-native architecture patterns.
• Background in migrating legacy applications to cloud environments.
