Description

You will design enterprise-scale data models and lead Data Vault 2.0 implementations within cloud-native environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise-scale data models with 100+ entities for on-prem and cloud environments.
• Lead Data Vault 2.0 implementation in cloud-native data environments.
• Translate business requirements into logical and physical data models by collaborating with analysts, product owners, DBAs, and engineers.
• Define and implement strategies for data governance, data quality, and data lineage.
• Mentor junior data engineers and analysts while participating in agile ceremonies.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in data architecture and modeling.
• Proven hands-on experience with Data Vault 2.0 implementations.
• Expertise in relational, dimensional, star, snowflake, and normalized/denormalized modeling.
• Proficiency with Snowflake, Hive, Redshift, S3, Trino, and Hue.
• Deep knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, and DB2.
• Experience with modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or Toad Data Modeler.
• Strong understanding of MDM, Data Dictionary, and Data Mapping.
• Application of Bill Inmon and Ralph Kimball methodologies.
• Ability to maintain at least 2 hours of daily overlap with Pacific Time.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within the financial services domain.
