Description

You will design and deploy large-scale Big Data and analytics solutions across multiple technical domains. You own the end-to-end lifecycle of Big Data products, from requirements engineering through design, development, and deployment. You architect distributed applications and underlying infrastructure, including clustered computing, storage, and data center networking. You manage technical relationships with end-users, ISVs, OEMs, and platform architects to execute proof-of-concept engineering. You mentor technical teams and represent the organization in industry standards forums or technical events. You build and operate cloud services within IT, systems integrator, or service provider environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of Big Data products, including requirements, design, development, and deployment.
• Architect distributed Big Data applications and infrastructure involving clustered computing and storage.
• Manage technical relationships with ISVs, OEMs, and platform architects for proof-of-concept execution.
• Mentor technical teams and represent the organization in industry standards forums.
• Build and operate cloud services in IT or service provider environments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of technical solutions experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Big Data and Analytics domains.
• Deep expertise with Hadoop and other industry Big Data frameworks.
• Experience with Enterprise Business Intelligence and Analytics tools (SAP, Oracle, or Teradata).
• Proven track record of deploying large distributed Big Data applications.
• Experience with clustered/distributed computing and storage infrastructure.
• Experience designing and operating cloud services.
• Strong technical leadership and mentorship capabilities.
