Description

You will own the support and maintenance of Big Data applications running on Hadoop clusters, ensuring stability across development and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1, L2, and L3 technical support for Java, Spark, and Kafka applications.
• Maintain Hadoop cluster space, managing file backups, archiving, and hygiene.
• Develop fixes for deployment issues and manage promotion cycles between environments.
• Provide DevOps support to ensure smooth operation of development and production systems.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in IT support or development roles.
• Hands-on proficiency with Core Java.
• Practical knowledge and experience with Apache Spark.
• Experience with Apache Kafka.
• Experience supporting applications on Hadoop clusters.
• Familiarity with L1, L2, and L3 support workflows.
• Ability to manage deployment and promotion cycles.
• Proficiency with Big Data technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Message Queues (MQ).
