Description

You will own the validation and automation of big data systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test frameworks for APIs, data pipelines, and backend systems in AWS environments.
• Validate data ingestion, transformation, and processing within Big Data platforms using Hadoop, Spark, and Hive.
• Develop, maintain, and execute end-to-end test cases covering functional, integration, performance, and regression scenarios.
• Create and manage test data supporting various testing scenarios across structured and unstructured datasets.
• Collaborate across teams to maintain quality engineering standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Automation Testing focused on backend systems or data platforms.
• Proficiency with Terraform and AWS.
• Direct experience with Big Data technologies, specifically Hadoop, Spark, and Hive.
• Expertise in Automation Testing and API Testing.
• Hands-on experience with Data Pipeline Testing and Backend Testing.
• Ability to manage test data for structured and unstructured datasets.
