Description

You will develop and integrate software applications for the BigData platform, building libraries, frameworks, and user-defined functions around Hadoop.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build libraries, user-defined functions, and frameworks around Hadoop.
• Develop custom Hive, HDFS, Kafka, and Spark capabilities via user-defined functions.
• Perform end-to-end automation of ETL processes for datasets ingested into the platform.
• Develop and execute test scripts, collaborating with Business Analysts, Architects, and Senior Developers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in BigData development.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark or Scala.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting.
• Deep understanding of Hadoop internals (Cloudera or HWA).
• Experience with Hive/Impala and HBase.
• Python development skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka.
