Description

Manage the end-to-end patch lifecycle and security compliance using IBM BigFix.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute patch management plans to ensure infrastructure security with minimal business disruption.
  • Deploy patches across servers, workstations, and IT components while managing patch baselines and compliance policies.
  • Test patches in staging environments and coordinate with application owners to validate production readiness.
  • Monitor compliance using BigFix and PowerBI dashboards to identify vulnerabilities and generate status reports.
  • Implement rollback procedures and investigate patch-related incidents to ensure business continuity.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in patch management and infrastructure security.
  • Expertise in IBM BigFix for deployment and policy management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Ability to script and automate tasks using Python.
  • Working knowledge of CSS and HTML.
  • Experience managing patch baselines and compliance monitoring.
  • Proven track record of handling incident response and rollback procedures.

Preferred Skills

  • Collaboration with security and network teams to remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Any Graduate degree.
