Description

You will serve as a BigQuery Database Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Administer BigQuery in a production environment.
• Tune SQL performance and optimize complex queries.
• Manage data warehouse platform migrations at enterprise scale.
• Implement IAM and security controls across GCP services.
• Develop automation scripts using Python or Bash.

Required Skills

• 8+ years experience as a Data Warehouse Engineer or DBA.
• 3+ years hands-on BigQuery administration in production.
• Strong proficiency in SQL performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with GCP services: BigQuery, Composer/Airflow, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Monitoring/Logging.
• Experience with enterprise scale data engineering and EDW platform migrations.
• Strong knowledge of IAM, security controls, networking basics, and DR strategies.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python/Bash).
• Experience with BigQuery, Sql, Gcp, Composer/airflow, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Python, Bash.
