Description

You will lead a team of bioinformatics programmers to develop analytical applications and manage production-level code.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 3-4 bioinformatics programmers.
• Develop data models specifically designed for analytical applications.
• Maintain and deploy code within production environments.
• Write and maintain scripts for data processing and automation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in bioinformatics or related technical leadership.
• Expert-level programming proficiency in R, Python, or Java.
• Extensive experience with data modeling for analytical applications.
• Proficiency in Unix shell and Perl scripting.
• Experience using cloud computing services, specifically AWS.
• Advanced degree (Master's or higher) in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Proven track record of working in production environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Spotfire for analytics and visualization.
