You will execute high-visibility projects within a high-volume clinical laboratory environment to improve patient care testing quality.
Responsibilities
Develop lean clinical testing workflows in collaboration with scientists, chemists, and engineers.
Evaluate, design, and integrate new laboratory technologies, including chemistry analyzers, liquid handlers, and automation systems.
Manage system integration, testing, and validation processes.
Apply medical informatics, statistics, and data analysis tools to support medical decision-making.
Identify and compile system requirements through direct engagement with business representatives and end-users.
Required Skills
10+ years of experience in systems integration, engineering, or informatics.
Proven experience with Microsoft .NET or related software development technologies.
Strong foundation in engineering principles, specifically mechatronics and biomedical systems.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Visio, or similar CAD tools for facility and equipment layout design.
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Computer Science with a Bioinformatics emphasis.
Advanced problem-solving skills applied to complex technical workflows.
Preferred Skills
Master’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science discipline.
Direct experience working in a clinical laboratory, IVD, or healthcare environment.
