Description

Validate BIOS firmware to ensure compliance with technical standards and hardware requirements.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including test cases and scenarios for BIOS validation.
• Perform functional, regression, and compatibility testing across diverse hardware configurations.
• Identify, analyze, and report bugs, defects, and inconsistencies in BIOS firmware.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using Python or PowerShell.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and firmware developers to troubleshoot issues and drive resolutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in BIOS firmware validation or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Python and PowerShell for automation.
• Hands-on experience with computer hardware troubleshooting.
• Deep familiarity with BIOS architecture and testing methodologies.
• Proven ability in test plan creation and execution.
• Strong problem-solving and technical documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
