Description

You will manage day-to-day administration for SAN and storage environments, focusing on migration, capacity planning, and infrastructure stability.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAN and storage infrastructure operations, including configuration, allocation to server infrastructure, and event management.
• Execute block migrations using HTsM, HCS, or scripted methodologies, including the deployment of iSEC/SE Console/RIAT.
• Perform capacity planning and analysis by tracking usage trends, monitoring subsystem capacity, and providing tuning recommendations.
• Diagnose and resolve storage incidents, performing root cause analysis and documenting all troubleshooting steps.
• Maintain disaster recovery solutions for SAN and NAS storage through data movement, replication, and business resumption testing.
• Mentor junior administrators and collaborate with Hitachi Data Systems engineers on infrastructure implementation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in storage administration and SAN management.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Unix operating systems.
• Experience with AIX, Solaris, and HP/UX environments.
• Strong expertise in SAN switch capacity and management.
• Hands-on experience with HDP/HDT design and implementation.
• Proficiency in planning and designing HTsM, TrueCopy, and HUR based migrations.
• Ability to perform workload analysis using TMEA for array performance monitoring.
• Experience managing multipath platforms.
• Degree in any graduate field.
