Description

Design, develop, and deploy Web3 components and integrations for the Digital Asset Platform, including smart contracts, on-chain event listeners, and protocol connectors.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services interfacing with public and permissioned blockchain networks.
• Develop, test, and audit smart contracts in Solidity, ensuring security and gas efficiency.
• Integrate Web3 libraries (Web3J, Ethers.js, Viem) into enterprise Java and Node.js services.
• Implement asynchronous, event-driven architectures for transaction lifecycle management and state synchronization.
• Collaborate with architects to design scalable Web3 infrastructure and support digital asset custody solutions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of overall software engineering experience with strong backend foundation.
• 2-4 years hands-on Web3 and blockchain application development.
• 3-5 years backend development using Java/Spring or Node.js.
• Proficiency in Solidity with testing frameworks (Hardhat, Foundry, Truffle).
• Hands-on experience with Web3 libraries such as Web3J, Web3JS, Ethers.js, or Viem.
• Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals: consensus, gas models, and wallet infrastructure.
• Experience with token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155) and tokenization patterns.
• Familiarity with permissioned networks (Hyperledger Besu, Fabric, Corda) is a strong plus.
• Experience with asynchronous programming and message queuing (Kafka, RabbitMQ).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Layer 2 scaling solutions (Polygon, Optimism, zkSync) and cross-chain interoperability.
• Background in financial services or regulated industries.
